As a LifeFocus coach, Ken works with individuals who are motivated to deal more effectively with various aspects of their lives in an integrated and personally fulfilling way. Personal relationships, business challenges, career choices, financial decisions, choices affecting personal well-being (physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually) and our management of time and resources are all part of the big picture.

With his LifeFocus approach, Ken has enabled his clients to determine what is most important in their lives and focus on what their lives are all about.

Whether Ken is working with one individual, facilitating a group of several hundred people, writing a book or coordinating a TV program, the underlying principles of his coaching are the same. He is committed to finding out where people are in their lives today, helping them define where they want to be in the future and providing practical and professional resources to assist them in making decisions and taking action to get the results they desire.

As one of the pioneers in the financial consulting industry with over a decade of prior experience in the counseling ministry, Ken became one of the first professionals to provide for his clients in-depth and comprehensive

coaching on a fee-only basis. His role in the lives of his clients has been one of helping them clarify their life values, establish meaningful goals consistent with what they value most in their lives, and then follow through with both persistence and patience to achieve desired results.

In the early 1980's, Ken became a leader in taking financial life planning education into the work place. He successfully combined a program that communicated the value of employer-sponsored benefits with a highly personalized approach to financial life planning. The services provided have included workshops, customized modeling software, and face-to-face meetings with individuals and couples. As founder of The Rouse Companies, Ken trained a team of instructors and developed financial life planning software that became an integral part of the educational programs provided for corporate employers and their work force.

Ken is a graduate of Barton College and Texas Christian University. His formal training included psychology and counseling as well as technical financial services. Ken is author of the book, Putting Money In Its Place, which was originally promoted in cooperation with a TV series created for FNN (Financial News Network). He is also one of the co-authors of Ernst & Young's Retirement Planning Guide. For the last 30 years Ken has been in the business of providing leadership and direction for businesses, as well as highly personalized life planning services for individuals.
